The meeting will commence with registration at 11.30hrs on Monday 9th June 2014 and conclude at 16.30hrs on Wednesday 11th June 2014.

The meeting venue is the Harrogate International Centre (HIC).  Located in the centre of Harrogate and within easy walking distance of most hotels, shops and restaurants, Harrogate is famous for its floral beauty with the Royal Pump Room and Turkish Baths forming a lasting tribute to the town’s former fame as a major spa resort.

Harrogate is located in North Yorkshire and can be reached by road, rail or air.

The M1, A1(M), M56 and M62 are located near Harrogate for quick and simple access by car.

On-site pay and display parking is available at the HIC.  There is also ample parking in the town centre and at most of the hotels.

By Train
Regular train services operate to Harrogate from Leeds every 30 minutes and from York every hour.  Both are main line stations for the London Kings Cross to Edinburgh route and cross-country intercity networks.  Visit: for timetables.

By Air
Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBIA) is the closest airport to Harrogate and is located 12 miles away, approximately 20 minutes by car.  Manchester airport is a 75 minute drive.  Both airports have direct links from London Heathrow and most UK and European airports.

British Airways run daily flights between Harrogate and London Heathrow and there are regular flights from many connections in Europe and worldwide. For more information on flights visit:

The Airport Direct 737 bus operates an hourly service from Leeds Bradford International Airport to Harrogate Bus Station.  The HIC is located a short walk from the Bus Station.

CPD approval will be applied for from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.  Delegates requiring accreditation should sign the CPD Attendance Register on each day of the conference.  This meeting may also be deemed suitable for your Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Continuing Professional Development Programme (CPD).  All participants will be issued with a certificate of attendance.
